TE AMO

Putting everything else aside for the moment, it's our anniversary. I love my hubby more and more everyday and I wanted to take the time out to share that with the world. It's a wonderful thing when you find that person whom you can share your days with. I've always been a romantic at heart and I love days like today. I get to be corny and sappy without abandon :)

Freedom Flavored

My first job is that of a professional actress. I won't disclose my credits because that's not what this blog is about, but I make my bread. Anyway, as most NYC actors, I needed a part time gig to keep me afloat a bit. That part time gig turned into a full time nightmare. I was depressed for five monthes without realizing why. I am not a wage slave. I quit last week and will now make my cash from my Ebay store for the time being. It's hard for artists to do the full time thing. Freedom makes me smile every single morning. If any of you have ever been in my boat...then you know what I'm talkin about ;)

I Heart Johnny Cash

Obviously, if you've been under a rock and have never heard Johnny Cash's stuff, get to it right now. On another note, I rediscovered Johnny yesterday, driving around with my baby after one of the best meals ever at Cheesecake Factory. I've never been there before and honestly wasn't expecting much (apart from ridiculous cheesecake) but if you have one near you, please try the Sante Fe salad. You won't regret it.

Aside from the food, this weekend was filled with old friends and much too many tequila shots. I was always against the whole "let's reunite!!" type party because the past is the past is the past, but I enjoyed seeing people whom I haven't seen for many years. Reminded me of how young we all still are. And that is always FANTASTIC.
